Glenhaven History Quick Facts
- Originally named ‘”Sandhurst” but the name was changed after it caused confusion with another suburb in Melbourne.
- The upper portion of the valley “The Glen” & the lower portion “The Haven” hence the new suburb name of Glenhaven
- Evans Road is named after John Evans, one of the first settlers in the area.

Transport
- Buses from Rouse Hill, Parramatta and Castle Hill service most of the suburb
- During peak hour services to the CBD run via the M2.

- Glenhaven Oval is located on Glenhaven Road, a single sports field for predominantly cricket and soccer.
- Glenhaven Community Centre is available for hire. It has a main room for larger events and smaller meeting rooms.
