Kellyville Ridge

Kellyville Ridge is located west of Windsor Road, Kellyville and used to be apart of the rural farming district of Kellyville. Kellyville Ridge is apart of the Greater Western Sydney and falls under the City of Blacktown Council.

Kellyville Ridge History Quick Facts

• The suburb name is taken from the ridge, the only vertical significant geographical feature in the area.
• A rare event happened in June 1972, when the ridge was blanketed by a freak snowfall.
• Castle Hill Rebellion is thought to have occurred at Kellyville Ridge.

Residential Areas & Estate’s

• Kellyville Ridge has undergone significant growth with many new developments since 2002.
• Predominantly the suburb is residential housing for families.
• In recent years there has been construction of medium density residential apartments being built on the southern side of the suburb.

Shopping & Entertainment

• Kellyville Ridge is serviced by newly developed Ponds Shopping Centre which boasts over 25 stores including Woolworths.
• In the adjacent suburb of Stanhope Gardens, is Stanhope Village, a smaller centre as an alternative.
• Only 1km from Kellyville Ridge is the newly developed Rouse Hill Town Centre, which features a mix of indoor, and outdoor spaces, open street style shops and includes a huge variety of retailers and cinemas.
• The Ettamogah family friendly hotel is a popular place for families as the kids are able to enjoy the play centre with jumping castle.

Transport

• Hillsbus and Busways provide extensive bus services.
• Services utilise the North West T-Way (Dedicated bus lanes)
• Routes to Parramatta, Castle Hill, North Sydney and CBD are provided by Hillsbus
• Routes to Blacktown, Rouse Hill and Stanhope Gardens are provided by Busways.

• In the coming years the North West Rail Link will provide new stations at Kellyville and Rouse Hill which should be easily accessible by Kellyville Ridge residents. Due for operation in 2019
